Model-Grader M series
The Caterpillar M series unit can be mounted top rear of cabin or on the front of the bonnet. The air duct uses a square to round adapter fitted to the LHR corner on the cabins roof. Then fit the 4” cobra 90-degree adapter to 3” flex to the pressuriser box. See photos.
Remove the OEM fresh air filter & reseal the cover. Note.. on some machines the doors may require adjustment as the door seals do not seal. Note.. if the fan speed is below 20% CO@ levels may rise. Adjust target pressure to 50 PA to assist with air flow. You may require to make a leak to increase air flow through the cabin. Best spot is to fit a bleed valve to one of the upper vents top rear of the cabin. Note.. make sure the HVAC fan is at least set to no 1 speed to help move air in the cabin.
Fit the sensor box close to the recirculation filter. Fit the monitor in the operators view.
Do not forget to carryout commissioning form & filter replacement to start filter logging.
